ACF

 

As a part of the five-year goals of SECC Youth Department, Young Adult Ministry of Southeastern California Conference is seeking to establish and/or support Adventist Campus Fellowships (ACF) on public campuses.

 

 

If your church is currently ministering to our Adventist students or students in general, we would love to hear from you so that our efforts can be properly coordinated and so that we can ensure that this ministry is supported. If you don’t have a ministry on any campus and would like to be a part of the ACF church support network, please contact us so that we can work together.

 

Below are nine quick points to outline what church support will mean for your church.

 

  • Sabbath Providing a meaningful Sabbath experience for young adults
  • Discipleship Discipleship through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ
  • Acceptance Accepting people just as Jesus did for fellowship
  • Community Committed to building community
  • Support Supporting young adults with their life challenges
  • Service Demonstrating God’s love through acts of service
  • Leadership Provide opportunities for young adults to develop leadership
  • Budget Investing money in young adult ministry in the local church
  • Change Change that leads to improved young adult ministry

You will not need to send or give money to the ministry, but you will be expected to support the different events and also provide a place for the ministry to fellowship and grow.

This is an opportunity and a chance for your church to minister beyond the four walls of your church building and beyond the neighboring streets, communities, and homes that surround your local church. This is an opportunity to reach the young adults who might be away from home or who are looking for purpose in their future. What better purpose can a future hold then one that is in Jesus Christ?
