Leaders' Convention

When

The weekend after Labor Day in September; this year it is September 9-11, 2011.

Decription

The leadership convention is held anually for all adult Pathfinder workers; specifically, directors, deputy directors, couselors, instructors, secretaries and treasurers. Teens who are working on the Guide or above, or are staff, are the only teens invited to attend.

Attendance

Personnel attending the Leaders' Convention should remember that this is a conference sponsored training course and not a family retreat; we suggest that children be left at home. Club leaders should bring only those persons who will help in the club program during the year. But, in the event, you need to bring your child(ren), a day camp experience is provided for ages 5-12 years for a fee of $30/child. This fee does not include lodging and meals.

Children are not permitted in the adult workshops.  If you have children under age 5, you will be responsible for attending to them. If a parent/guardian needs to attend to their child’s needs, they will need to do so outside of the class so others will not be disrupted.

Space is limited, early registration is recommended.

Uniform

Please wear full dress, Class A,uniform on Sabbath morning and for worship. New staff may wear appropriate Sabbath attire. The rest of the meetingsare casual attire and Pathfinder shirtsare appropriate.
