Kite day

When

First Sunday in March.  This year it is March 4, 2012.

Description

It is a fun and relaxing day that brings parents and Pathfinders together.  It is an event where parents can actually join in the fun of creating the kite together with their children.  All kites flown are to be made by the Pathfinder flying them.

Theme

Transportation is the theme.  So keep this in mind when making your kites.

Attendance

All Pathfinder clubs are encouraged to attend.  No points will be awarded for this event.

Uniform

Field uniform is required to win any awards.  Modest shorts or appropriate beach wear are optional at the discretion of the club director.

Fees

$20 per club, PLUS an additional $1 per person for Kite Day patch or pin (subject to change).  Can be billed to the church if no paid at the time of the event.

Registration

The club director or secretary needs to submit the online registration forms at least fifteen days before the event.  Registration deadline is Monday, February 20. Let us know what your projected numbers are.  Actual numbers are given when the club director/secretary registers onsite.
