Children's Ministry Workshops Available For Your Church

SECC Children's Ministry is excited to present "Workshop Your Way (WYW)." WYW is a way of meeting the local church ministry needs by having workshops that are requested by the local church based on their current needs. What does it take to have a WYW in your local church?

Church Expectations

1. A request must be submitted in writing via email at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or letter by your Children's Ministry Director (CMD) or Pastor.
2. Provide a minimum sign-up of 12 people plus the CMD or Pastor. An approximate final count is needed for materials.
3. Agree on a date and time with SECC Children's Ministry Dept, whether it be a Saturday afternoon or Sunday morning.
4. Invite 1-2 churches nearby.
5. Provide refreshments/meal at the end of the workshop.
6. Provide childcare while the workshop is going on.

Note: If there are less than 12 participants during the workshop, the church will be billed $250 for the presenter's travel and honorarium.

SECC Will Provide...

1. A presenter for the topics agreed upon.
2. Travel expense and honorarium for the presenter(s)
3. The necessary materials for the workshop.

Want to Create Your Own Children's Workshop?

1. Let us know and we can partner with you in covering the cost of the travel and honorarium.
2. Note: Partnership will be based on funds available. Arrangements must be pre-approved and NOT after the event has taken place.
3. Church must agree to open its workshop to other churches.

2. Will not repeat workshops already presented in a nearby church unless there is a significant demand.
3. Is limited to the availability of the Presenters for topics chosen.
4. Is limited to the funding available for this program.
